Frequently Asked Questions
What is IV Therapy?
IV Therapy is a method of administering fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly to the bloodstream rather than typical at-home methods. By bypassing the digestive system, your body can absorb 100% of the vitamins compared to 10-50% absorption when taking oral vitamins and supplements. Nevertheless, our services are meant to supplement and not to replace oral hydration.
Is IV Therapy Safe?
All of our vitamins, supplements, and weight loss injections are FDA approved. All IVs and injections are administered by Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners and performed under a medical director. Before any client can be administered any treatment, their health history will be taken and evaluated to ensure proper safety.
How Long Does IV Therapy and Injections Take?
Lone injections are incredibly quick and take only about five minutes. IV Therapy can take anywhere between 30-45 minutes. Luckily, our IV Therapy can be done from the comfort of your own home, office, or other location of your choice to provide the utmost ease and comfort.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Side effects for IV Therapy are generally non-existent or incredibly mild. Like other intravenous care or injections, you may experience some discomfort, bruising, redness, itching, or inflammation at the site of injection. True allergic reactions are extremely rare. However, if you do experience symptoms associated with anaphylaxis following the administration of an injection, visit your nearest emergency department and contact us at your earliest convenience. If you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed on any of our services, please avoid it.
